Sylvana awoke, alone on her cot, a blanket tossed over her frame. Slowly she sat, looking blearily around the room. She heard the sound of excitable tweetling, and looked to see the fuzzy shape of a Droid coming to greet her. The green targeted him as being Fate. She patted his dome, not reaching for the datapad he was extending to her.
Idly she wondered where he'd gotten another one, but she really didn't care.
With a sigh, she moved so one bare foot touched the floor, and using her one good arm for balance, she hopped alongside the bed, then over to a medical tray. She squinted as she looked among the air syringes, and finding a painkill, she jabbed it into her injured arm, hoping to take the edge off the pain flowing through her body, centred in three places. Her leg (which she figured by now was broken), her arm (the same), and her head (Josh had explained it as his fault, though it'd been pounding since she'd been to Coruscant).
She was getting really sick and tired of this headache.
Hearing a sound, she whirled about, only ending up sitting awkwardly in a chair as she peered at the direction the sound had come from. Blurred shapes appeared in the doorway, one pushing something looking much like a hovering wheelchair.
Sylvana squinted as the figures came closer, and could sort of make out a Terra Group uniform on the one NOT pushing the chair. When he spoke, she knew it was Lieutenant Coghlan.
"We're here. He will be taking you to your room, and you've been scheduled for some reconstructive surgeries later on today."
Mutely, Sylvana nodded, glancing at the Duros before allowing him to help her remove the monitor leads from her back and chest, before wrapping her back up in the warm blanket and helping her into the chair. As they passed Nick, had she bothered to look up at him, she would have seen a small measure of concern in his eyes.
But... she really didn't care.
"Agent Doctor Lorrdain, I'm Doctor Anreson, we'll be working together during your stay here on Perdition."
Sylvana looked up, squinting slightly at the woman before her. She looked to be human, her hair black and long, tied back in a braid. She smirked. "You look like you could be my-" her voice cut off and the smirk disappeared as she returned to staring listlessly at the blanket wrapped around her.
Murmuring voices, change of hands... her droid still tweetling contentedly to himself as he followed. Sylvana paid no attention to any of this as the Doctor took over her escorting. Idle comments floated through her mind as they passed by blurred shapes wandering calmly lit halls, but Sylvana didn't voice them. It was as though she'd used all her words alotted for the day, when she'd spoken with Captain Nolan earlier.
Not that it mattered.
Silence reigned, Dr. Anreson seeming to realise the other doctor didn't really wish to talk. Soon, they reached a door. When instructed that her palmprint would open the door, Sylvana followed the instruction.
The door swished open to reveal a warm, comfourtable looking bedroom. Well, at least what she could see of it. By now Sylvana, who had been self-evaluating in her silence, had realised that it wasn't sleep in her eyes making it so.
Her vision had been damaged. Wonderful.
"...lvana? Dr. Lorrdain?"
She blinked, realising the other doctor had been speaking to her. She turned her head slightly, looking up at the blurred shape that represented Dr. Anreson. Then... she raised an eyebrow.
The doctor smiled kindly, "I was asking if you would like some clothes - there have been some outfits provided for you over in that wardrobe," she motioned. "A few are imported all the way from Lorrd," she smiled.
At the mention of the planet of her birth, Sylvana broke down into tears. Anreson was there in a moment, offering a handkerchief and brushing Sylvana's long, loose hair from her face. "I'm sorry..."
"It's not your fault," Sylvana broke in. Seemed her words weren't all gone after all. "It's just I... I'm from Lorrd."
"I thought you were from Terra?" the other woman's voice sound mildly amused.
"Long story, a very long story."
"Ah well, no worries. That's why I'm here."
Sylvana shook her head, mute once more.
"That's all right, I have all the time in the world, Doctor. And so do you, take all the time you need."
Sylvana sighed, closing her eyes and shaking her head lightly.
"Do you want me to go?"
Sylvana nodded.
"Alright then. If you need me, there is a buzzer by the side of your bed. I'll be dropping by later to bring you to surgery."
Sylvana nodded again, then felt a hand rest on her shoulder briefly. A moment later, the door swished open, then closed again.
Fate tweetled a little, reaching out a grasper arm to tap her leg comfourtingly, letting out a low, musical tone. She rested her hand on his dome, and sighed once more before brushing his 'limb' away and directing her hoverchair over to the window.
Not terribly much to look at... but that didn't matter. It wasn't like she could actually really see it all, anyhow.
Not that she really cared.
