------- Brimstone Change of Orders By Sylvana Lorrdain and Alison Sky ------- All she remembered was the closet, opening the door, and finding a pair of arms around her. Warm arms, arms that made her feel safe. She held onto him, crying, knowing she wouldn't be seen as weak or silly in these arms. "Wes," she whimpered, then kissed him, unaware still of who else was nearby; not caring. Face rubbed his nose, wrinkling it slightly to make sure it hadn't broken when the door slammed him in the face. He waited a moment, trying not to look at them, and then cleared his throat. Wes sighed. Yeah, probably not nice to make out with Alison in front of Face. It's like making out with her in front of Wedge, only just a tiny bit less deadly. "Alison, it's ok," he said, pulling her into a hug. "What happened?" Alison looked back at the closet. "Nothing... I'm just... just remembering who I was." "Well, now that the identity crisis seems to be over, I suggest we find the others and get out of here." "Syl..." Alison looked at Face worriedly. "She's here somewhere. We have to find her." He nodded. "I know - Hobbie's looking for her now," he told her, stepping back and glancing in either direction, his hands steady on his blaster as he kept an eye out for any trouble. "You sent Hobbie out by himself in this place?!" Alison looked at Wes, who shrugged. She gave an exasperated sigh. "Are you just trying to get him in a bacta tank again?" She reached around Wes and took his holdout, checking the setting. "He's a big boy and can take care of himself, Ali," Face said. "It's a planet full of psychopaths," Wes stated, which got a glare from his girlfriend, "Present ones excluded. How much trouble could he get into?!" "The worst that could happen is one of the security docs, or something, mistake him for someone needing locked up and we'll have to rescue him, too." Face shrugged. "Now, about getting off this rock-" "You're not helping any," Wes said. "How did you three get on this planet anyway?" "The more-covert-than-we'd-like way, of course," Face said innocently. Alison thought for a moment. "Who came in as the one being committed?" Face stepped back, grinned, and made a show of presenting Wes. "Tah-dah!" Wes gave Alison an innocent look, and she rolled her eyes. "I didn't even need to ask. Where are you parked? I know my way around this place better than you two. I'll find Hobbie and Syl and get them back to you." "Alright, we're the shuttle on the south end of the landing pad with the lovely grey, blue, and red stripes on the side. Need a weapon?" "Face, I am a weapon." She smirked, but held up Wes' holdout. "I'll find you two soon." He nodded sharply. "In one piece," he said. "Good luck." "Oh don't worry your pretty little face, Loran. I'll be fine." She winked, then started off down a hallway. "Love you," Wes called as she took off down a corridor. "Same here." "I'm gonna get out of here, get the ship prepped, you go look for Hobbie and Syl too." "I hope Ooryl is having just as fun of a time as we are," Wes called over his shoulder as he checked his blaster and headed in the opposite direction than Alison. "I'll comm him while I get the ship ready to start, then." Face said, turning and heading back where they came; grumbling about having to miss half the fun.
Hobbie ducked another rain of falling rubble, definitely displeased. "Damnit, I wanted to make things go boom," he grumbled to himself as he fought his way through the labrynthine corridors trying to find Sylvana. He knew that, by now, she wouldn't be in her room... which meant she could be anywhere. A blaster shot grazed his shoulder and he turned, felling the offender before ducking into an alcove and checking his blaster's powercharge. Alison happened to turn the corner just as Hobbie ducked into the alcove. She saw another nutjob with a blaster and looked around, then quickly grabbed a piece of metal shrapnel on the floor, finding it's balance, and threw it down the hall. It struck the guy in his throat, and he went down with hardly a gurgle. Alison smirked, then ran up to the hallway. "Hobbie, is that you?" "Alison, that you?" He called back, not peeking out just yet as he piggybacked his blaster. "Yeah, it's me. Wes was looking for you, but I guess I found you first." She grabbed the blaster from the nutjob and checked the charge. Hobbie peered down the hallway and joined her. He took a breath, "Right, that makes one more for me to find, then." He frowned, the moment of silence was bugging him. "We better get our feet under us." "How about you just comm him? I'm sure you have his number... I have all three." Alison smirked a bit. "Missed you, too," Hobbie said, grabbing his commlink as he started making his way down the hall. "Were there any gardens here or something?" "This way." She turned sharply left, heading towards the garden area. "We need to find one of my friends." "That's who I'm looking for," he said under his breath before keying his comm. "Wes!" "What?!" Wes' response came over the comm. "I got your girl, we're goin' after mine - get your ass back to the ship!" "Just watch your hands. She's a killer." Hobbie glanced at the once-living man laying on the ground, blood flowing freely from his throat. "Believe me, I know. See you at the ship," he said before clipping the comm to his collar and continuing after her. "So, you guys just come here to give me a little company, or do you have a purpose?" Alison shouted over her shoulder. Nothing like having a few different points of view to find out what's REALLY going on. "Extracting people before the place goes kablooey?" Hobbie tried. "Oh, you shouldn't have. But I'm a big girl, I could have taken care of myself." "Not you - actually we weren't supposed to even see you," Hobbie told her, taking a careful look around the corner, then slipping past a few confused patients in a seemingly 'nice' zone. "WHAT?!" Alison grabbed Hobbie by the shoulder and pinned him against the wall. "What do you mean you weren't supposed to see me?" The blond winced. "Doesn't mean we weren't going to change parameters - but things weren't supposed to go more kablooey than the 'malfunction' Face and I planned on our ship!" "Kriffin Cracken." Alison growled, but let Hobbie go and even dusted him off. "So who are you supposed to be extracting?" Hobbie winced, "Terrans." "Yeah, well, they need all the help they can get." Alison quickly surveyed where they were. "Come on, if we're looking for Syl, our best bet is this way." Hobbie frowned, "So I take it you know they're here," he said slowly, moving along cautiously, blaster at ready "You ever been seperated from Wes so long that you can feel his presence in a room before you see him?" She looked over her shoulder at Hobbie. "That's how close Syl and I were... are...." His expression softened slightly, and he nodded. "I thought as much. I didn't even know she was here until we were enroute. How is she?" he asked curiously, backing up to a wall to peer cautiously around the corner. Alison's eyes widened. "A lot better than she's doing now!" she shouted and took off running. "Come on!" "Oh Sithspit!"
