------- Brimstone Canteen Revelation By Alison Sky and Sylvana Lorrdain ------- It was another meal in that damn base. Crawler kept her eyes on her tray, pushing around the globs of stuff that pretended to be food. More like Slop. That was the main meal at Perdition. Slop... slop... and sloppy joes. "You'd think they'd have better service here," she muttered to herself, taking another bite of her hunk of bread, the only edible thing served. "Empire's Whore," a voice muttered as a man walked past, older, but still well in shape. Crawler did not move, used to hearing people talk about her, but her training taught her to act as if she didn't hear... as if they didn't exist..... man, she wished some of them didn't exist... they were just downright ugly and smelt bad. "Traitor's spawn, you think you're so great...." He snarled, knowing she could hear him. Crawler just closed her eyes. She had a feeling that sooner or later the truth would get out... but still... "I'm sorry, are you speaking to me?" Crawler asked sweetly, turning to look at the man, her eyes innocent. "Yes I am. I don't know what they thought they were doing letting someone like YOU in here - you obviously belong down where they keep the 'troopers," he spat on the floor at her feet. Crawler's eyes narrowed considerably and she looked at the floor, then back at the man. "I guess I got off for good behavior," she spoke softly, but a sneer in her voice. "Oh, a smart-mouth, huh?" He bit back. "Pulling the same tricks HE did, I see..." Crawler smirked, turning a bit to look more at the man, crossing her legs and leaning forward a bit, resting her elbow on her knee, then head on her hand. "Ah... I get it now... you knew my father, didn't you?" "You could say that," he sneered. "Two timing bastard killed a lot of good friends of mine...." "He killed a lot of people.... what side were they on?" She smirked. "The same side you're apparently bloodsucking from." "And which side is that again, since you seem to know everything," Crawler asked sweetly, and a few chuckles came from her guards. "What are you, some kind of fucking idiot?! The Rebellion, of course!" he snapped, lunging toward her, his fist raised. Crawler raised a hand, grabbing his fist as she stood up. "Hate to break this to you, but there is no Rebellion anymore... there is only the New Republic and the Remnant...." she stated coldly. "Or perhaps they've had your crazy ass locked up so long that you didn't hear the news." "Lying BITCH!" He pulled his fist back, spinning with a kick toward her side. Crawler blocked that one easily too. "You're halfway right... I am a bitch, but I sure as hell ain't lying," Crawler smirked. "I'll make you pay for what your father did to Notslla and Elpkcats!!!" He shouted, grabbing his plate and swinging it at her. Crawler ducked out of the way, getting to the other side of him, where her two guards waited, arms crossed. "Sorry I can't stay and play, but I have to be a good little girl and keep my outfit clean," Crawler smiled, then turned to go, her guards forming up on either side of her. "LIKE HELL!" The man yelled, picking up a bowl of slop and throwing it at her. Crawler turned and got soup on her face, then took a deep breath and wiped it clean. "Are you done yet? Felt you got your revenge yet for everything you've turned into being my father's fault?" "Agent... perhaps...." Crawler looked at her guard. "No, this will be settled now... Oh... " she turned to the other guard, who was smirking. "You're fired." "Gaaah!" The man came at her swiftly, bearing down on her, hoping to catch her off guard. Crawler moved quickly, sliding under him, then bringing a fist up into his stomach. "Is this what you want, scum? I'm trained by the best fighters on both sides, so if you want to put your money where your mouth is... bring it on," she snarled in his ear. He let out a huff of air as she caught his stomach, twisting around to grab her arm, tossing her over his shoulder. Crawler relaxed her body and went with the motion, getting to her feet on the other side, then pushing back to hit her shoulder into him. "That Bitch can sure fight," the 'fired' guard chuckled. "Bet you ten she takes him." "Bet you 20 she takes on the whole room." "I don't bet on a sure thing." The man was hit, pushing through the air to land against another table, pushing another patient up against it roughly, spilling the soup all over her. She was dressed simply, black spandex shorts, purple shirt, white over-tunic - typical of Lorrdian relaxing style. "What was that for?" She said angrily, turning around and clocking him one, pushing him away as she stood, angry, her fists on her hips. "Watch where you're going!" Crawler stood up and smirked. "He pissed me off," she stated simply. *That voice...* "Well you're going to have to share," Sylvana remarked as the man got up and tried to take a swing at her, ducking forward and elbowing him in the crotch. "I was hungry," she gave him an uppercut, "And that was the last of the soup!" "What is WITH you BITCHES!" The guy shouted, looking between the two of them, trying to decide who to retaliate on first. "How you can eat that shit, I don't know," Crawler saw two more coming at her, and spun around, kicking the first in the face and throwing him back into the second one. The first one headed at Sylvana, but she ducked him and kicked at his kidneys, he tried to grab her long braid, but it slipped through his fingers as he fell. "I told you, I was hungry." "You always fight better with a full stomach," Crawler stated, then ducked as a tray was swung at her. She grabbed a fork and tossed it like a dagger, nailing the guy in his hand, making him drop the tray. Sylvana blinked, "How did you know?" she asked, missing a block and getting clocked one. "Hey, isn't that the berserker?" one guard asked. "Ten credits says they know each other," another muttered. "Should we stop this before things get out of hand?" "....Nah...." "QUIT IT!" Syl shouted, ducking back around and kicking her opponent into the rest, stepping back a little and shaking her aching leg out. Seemed it still had a little way to go on the healing. "This sure beats punching bags," she grinned. "Among other things," Crawler chuckled, looking around the room. The ones who had fought were in pain... the smart ones pressed against the wall. "I guess they won't bother us for a bit...." Sylvana pouted, "I was just getting warmed up too...." "There's always dinner. I hear it's sloppy joes again," Crawler looked at her outfit. "Though I'm not ready to wear that slop..." "You should take a shower, that stuff smells worse than it tastes," Syl commented, limping forward, tilting her head with a pondering look. "Do I know you?" She seemed familiar.. but she just couldn't place her finger on it. "You seem to know some stuff about me... but I can't place you...." "A lot of people think that..." Crawler smirked, then turned. "But I'm no one worth remembering..." she started to go. Syl crossed her arms. "Well, it was nice fighting with you," she laughed. "We'll have to do it again sometime." "I'm sure we will," Crawler nodded, her guard stepping in behind her. The other tried, but Crawler turned and kicked him in the gut. "I told you, you're fired! Get the hell out of my face!" Syl chuckled, turning to go get changed, herself. But it kept nagging at her... why did she seem so familiar...? Crawler waited until she was back in her room before closing her eyes and leaning against the wall. *What the hell is she doing here? She's supposed to be safe on Earth. I'm going to kill Hobbie....*
