Project Boussh: Tying Loose Ends by Alison Sky Hobbie watched Shannon walked down the gangway to the airplane she was taking to get back to California. Standing against a divider gate, he wore blue jeans and a button down silk shirt with a nice tie, his hair slicked back and sunglasses. Walking up behind him, Alison leaned over the railing at looked at the Rogue. She shook her head. Hobbie smiled and turned to look at Alison. "So, it's just the two of us," he said, smiling. Alison laughed and punched the flyboy in his shoulder. "Don't even think of it, flyboy. I've got a sword and I know how to use it." Hobbie shook his head, his smile still in place. "Why is it that every woman I try to hit on is so strong willed?" "Just lucky I guess," Alison held her arm out to the Rogue. "However, when all this is over, I have a friend I think you might want to meet." "Really?" Hobbie looked at Alison over the brim of his sunglasses. She could see the redness from his swollen eye he had gotten from Retsim's thugs. He linked his arm with hers as they walked back out of the airport. "Yup. Her name is Lizzy, and I think she'd really enjoy meeting you as well." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ After leaving the airport and getting back to the coastline, Hobbie manuvered the sea shuttle back into the open waters of the Atlantic. They sat back and chatted, mainly of memories both of them had from their younger days. Finally, lost in the middle of the water, Alison looked at Hobbie. "So, where do you think we should go? New Hampshire? Back to the Islands?" "Can you direct me to your friend's place?" Hobbie asked. "Once a flyboy..." Alison muttered. She grabbed the comlink from Hobbie's pocket and turned it on. "Well, since we're lost, might as well ask for directions." "This is Terran Eleven and Rogue Four, calling in. Hello out there! We could use some guidence."
