Project Boussh: Starting To Catch Up by Josh Nolan "The Rebel intelligence co-ordinator is a Gamorrean," proclaimed Brad with the air of someone playing a trump card. His gaze then wandered over to the Hungry Jack's bag. "Is that for me?" he asked. Josh glared at Brad, wishing the Major would say something to unequivocally demonstrate his allegiance. *If he's an Imp, I get to shoot him until he can stand trial. (Show no mercy to the enemy.) If he's not, then I get to tell him I'm not an Imp.* Josh quickly decided on a course of action, and drew a breath. *Set Haughty to On.* "Oh, you've /happened/ to hear about the species of the Rebel intelligence co-ordinator, have you? And, pray tell, what magical means did you use to determine this? Are you perchance a Jedi who escaped the Emperor's purge?" Josh narrowed his eyes and took a threatening step forward. "Or, to borrow some of the indig parlance, are you having a lend of me?" Brad shook his head. "I swear," he repeated. "I know it's unbelievable, but the Rebel intelligence co-ordinator is as much a Gammorean as... as I'm not!" "You're awfully sure of your information," said Josh, folding his arms and drawing himself up to his full height. "Perhaps your source was setting you up to appear as foolish as you now appear." A stray thought struck Josh. "Who *is* your source, anyway?" Brad stared back defiantly. "I took a Rebel prisoner," he said proudly. "She was wounded, so I sent her up to the Admonitor to await questioning." "Of course. Your prisoner." Josh smiled ferally, and decided to gamble. After all, the worst Brad could do was try to run. "Of course, she told me something far different when I questioned her." Brad's jaw dropped, and Josh could almost hear him considering his options. Brad could keep trying to talk, but hopefully might actually spill something concerning his loyalties. He could try to run, but the door to the outside was locked and chain-bolted, and Josh could easily draw his holdout blaster and fire before he left. If he tried the other door, well - Nick and Ooryl might blow Josh's cover, but they would subdue him. *And it would appear the Star Destroyer's name is the Admonitor. Brad may have been useful for something other than a headache.*
