Project Boussh: Hollywood Crisis by Alison Sky Alison awoke in a stumbling mass on the floor as the bago came to a screching halt. She heard screams from Kirney and Dia as well, and a crash as Kolot fell out of the tiny bunk above the cab of the bago. "What are you two doing?!" Alison yelled into the cab. "We just saw MARA JADE!" a reply came. The three girls exchanged glances, then ran forward to look out the windshield with Face and Myn. They had been in Hollywood for a while now, but due to Kolot shaking his fur dry near the computer, they had been unable to keep in contact until Alison was able to scrounge up enough money for a new laptop. As they looked out the window, they saw that they were outside the Baywatch Hawaii set. Standing with a few other girls in bikinis was a lady with long red hair. "I didn't know Mara looked that good in a thong," Face replied, his eyes glued to the scene in front of him. "I think her friends look just as good,' Myn stated. "Roll you tongues back in your mouths, boys," Dia said dryly. "I doubt that is Mara." "What would she be doing down here anyways?" Kirney stated. "It's not like the Empire had a good hold here." "Maybe she's working for Atner?" Myn stated. Alison shook her head. "That's not Mara," she said. "Her name is Shannon, and she is the person who models for Mara." "Models?" Face asked. "Like acting?" Alison nodded, and then lifted her eyebrows when Face's eyes lit up. "What are you thinking, Face?" "Oh, nothing," he stated, and turned back to the road. For an instant, Alison felt her flesh pucker. Why was she getting another bad feelings about this group? It was late at night, the bago parked in the Disneyland parking lot. Alison, luckly, still had her ID from when she worked down at Disneyworld in Florida. Face, dressed in a long trenchcoat and sunglasses, quietly crept out of the bago and started towards the set of Baywatch Hawaii. "If a Mara Jade look-alike is good enough for this show, so is Face Loran!" He made his way to the set, then towards the dressing rooms. He found the room Shannon was using during her auditions, and knocked. "I hope she is still up..." Before Face could react, the door burst open, and a beam of blue light arced at the ex-Imperial boy actor, tossing him to his knees and into blackness. "ALISON!" For the second time in two days, Alison ended up in a pile on the floor. Dia stood over her, panting. "We need to work on our wake up calls," Alison stated. "Face is gone," Dia stated. Alison was awake instantly. "What do you mean 'Face is gone'?" Kirney came forward holding a note in her hand. She handed it to Alison. WE'VE TAKEN THE REDHEAD AND THE ACTOR. DO NOT GET IN ATNER'S WAY, OR BOTH WILL COME TO A QUICK CAREER END. Dia looked up at Alison, keeping her feelings at bay. "What are we going to do?" she asked. Alison shook her head. "I feel like I've failed you guys," Alison said. "All I've done is get us beat up, half drowned, and kidnapped. Maybe I'm not meant to be an adventurer anymore." Myn lay a hand on Alison's shoulder. "It's not your fault," he told her. "You're doing the best you can." "But we've gotten no closer to finding Quiara than we were when you landed at my spaceport." "Actually," Kirney said. "Face getting kidnapped might not be such a bad thing." Dia shot Kirney a look, but she held her hands up in defense. "We can trace Face a lot better than we can Quiara. he's been gone for only a night. How far can they take him in less then 10 hours?" Face awoke, shaking his head. He could hear the hum of a ship's engines from the walls around him, and saw another lump on the ground. he slowly crawled over to it and checked the form, seeing Shannon's face in the dim light. He checked for a pulse, and got a strong one. "Sithspit," Face muttered, taking off his coat and throwing it over Shannon's form so she wouldn't get cold. "What have I done to us now?"
