Project Boussh: Another Guest For Dinner by Alison Sky Alison was just finishing making a tray of salisbury steaks when there was the sound of the bago door being kicked open. "Hi honey, I'm home," Pash called out. "And I brought a friend home for dinner." Alison turned just as she saw Fel being tossed into the bago's main hold. He had binders holding his hands behind his back, and both Myn and Pash had blasters trained on him. "Sithspit!" Alison turned as she heard Kirney and Dia come from the back of the bago, and instantly their hands went to their blasters. "Hey, hey, HEY!" Alison said, waving the blasters away. "What do you think you're doing?" "Guarding a hostage," Pash said. "He's on a strange world and handcuffed," Alison stated. "I don't think he's in a position to hurt anyone." "You obviously don't know me well enough," Fel quipped from the floor. Alison crossed her arms and leaned back. "Baron Soontir Fel, Imperial hotshot and the maker of the 181st. Farmboy on Corellia until you got conned into going into the Imperial academy by the farming company you worked for. Went on to do many heroic deeds, making powerful friends and even more powerful enemies..." Fel watched her with wide eyes as she continued to quote his life. When she was done, he asked, "How do you know all this? Are you Intel?" Alison reached back into a knapsack and pulled out a Blood and Honor. "NO, just an avid comic book reader." She tossed it to Fel's knees. "Your exploits have even reached the far corners of our universe." "So I see," Fel said, examing the picture of him on the cover. "I didn't look that bald back then." "Forget the picture," Kirney said. "What are you doing here?" "I came looking to visit my brother-in-law," Fel said. "Are family reunions a crime?" "Depends on your motive." Pash played with the stun/kill setting on his blaster. Fel locked eyes with Alison. "I might have some information on Atner, I will only give it if you allow me one thing." Alison exchanged glances with the rest of the group. "What?" "Let me help." "You must be insane!" Pash stated. "Letting you help us! Why I..." "Pash," Alison looked at the red-readed man. "Can it." "But-" "Shush." She looked at Fel, trying to get a gage on his reactions. "Why do you want to help us so much?" "Rumors have it that he's got it big on kidnapping," Fel stated. "And rumor has it that my wife has been kidnapped. Add two and two together and you get a path to answers." Alison let the words mull over in her mind, the nodded. "Take the binders off him." "What?" Pash grabbed Myn's hands as he made to follow Alison's orders. "You can't be serious." "More than ever," Alison stated. "If anything, he's on a strange world with no ship and no contacts. We're a man short on firepower and could use some Imperial help." "Ex-Imperial," Fel stated as he rubbed life back into his wrists. "And I have more food here now than I know what to do with," Alison continued. "You guys sit and eat, and I'm going to send out a few messages." Pash growled, but nodded and led Fel into the kitchenette with the Wraiths. Alison, meanwhile, sat at the laptop and started writing messages. Message one was to Emily, giving her coordinates to her summer cabin, plus instructions on how to start the electricity and water systems, as so the place could be ready for their arrival. She also included an update on their dinner guest situation. The second message was to Vickie, telling her about their new passenger, and offering to pick her up in the bago on their way to New Hampshire. Third message went out to the rest of the group, letting them know her status. As she made her way back to the dinner table, she saw Pash standing alone with his plate, watching as Fel tried to gain the Wraiths' confidence. "First hearing about your encounter with Boba Fett, now having Fel on our side. What's next, Darth Vader coming back from the dead and lending us a Imp-star to go into victory?" Alison smiled at Pash's comment. "Not plausible," she replied. "But if you can think of anything else, let me know." "I was kidding," Pash stated. Alison gave him her best Wes-like innocent eyes. "I wasn't."
