Project Boussh: A Beginning By Nick Coghlan Ooryl's & Voort's X-wings swooped in low under cover of the blossoming jacarandas. As the ships came to rest, both pilots popped their canopies and clambered out. Nick and Josh moved out from the cover of the trees and greeted them as they reached the ground. "Hi, welcome to the farm." Ooryl nodded back. "Pleased to meet you. I trust you've got somewhere for us to set up?" Nick gestured towards the back door of the unit. "Josh's room. We figure no-one will be able to detect your lifesigns against the signals coming from the Ewoks. The general clutter should mask most of the electrical emissions." Voort grunted as he hauled a large case from the cargo bay of his X-wing. "Good. Face had to talk fast to get us this intelligence analysis gear. We'd hate to have it be the cause of anyone disrupting what we're trying to do." Nick grinned. "Hey, that's why you're over here, and they're over there. We don't have any reason to believe Q's been taken outside the States, so we should be free to work in peace. If everyone else can supply the right pieces of the puzzle, we, or at least, Voort here, should be able to put them all together. Hopefully we'll figure out where she is and what to do about it." Ooryl's expression could, in some vague way, have been described as a smile. "I trust you're right. Help with these camo nets?" As Nick & Ooryl started pulling camouflage nets from Ooryl's X-wing, Josh & Voort dissappeared inside the flat. After about 10 minutes work, the two stepped back to admire their handiwork. Looking at the trees, Nick said "Those jacaranda's will be dropping blossoms all over the yard any day now - before long the X-wings will be buried under a sea of flowers." "Sounds good. Let's go help the others setup." With that, Nick and Ooryl turned and headed for the back door of the flat, leaving two large, oddly-shaped mounds under the trees, with a light coating of purple flowers already drifting across them.
